Together on the Journey

We believe that life is a journey best lived together. No matter where you come from, what your story looks like, or how far you feel from God, you belong here. At Journey Church, we’re not about religion or routines, we’re about real relationships, authentic faith, and finding purpose in every step.

Together, we’re discovering what it means to live fully, to love deeply, serve freely, and shine God’s light in our community and beyond.

The mission of Journey Church is to be the BRIDGE between lost people and Jesus.

Our Mission

Our Core Values

The Bible

From Genesis to Revelation, we believe the inspired word of God.

Integrity

Living beyond reproach so the ministry of Journey Church can never be questioned.

Commitment to Excellence

Due to the simple fact that Christ gave us his very best, we should do our very best in all we do.

People

Every person was specifically made with special gifts and abilities. Every person is a minister. Ministry is who we are, not what we do. (Ephesians 4:11-12)

Your Story

Every person has a story to tell. We do not ever want to become so busy that we do not give others an opportunity to share their story.

Relevance

We will alter style, and preference to reach the next generations without compromising the Word of God. We must be IN the world but not OF the world.

Dependability

Doing what we say we are going to do when we say we're going to do it.

Balance

In all things, Balance! From A - Z, we operate at M in all things to reach the broadest range of people.

Statement Of Faith

Scripture is directly inspired by God written through man Inspired Scripture is simply written revelation.

That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
1 John 5:7

That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
Luke 5:31-32

Sanctification is a setting apart by God. We are to be IN the world but not OF the world Sanctification is subsequent to the salvation experience. It happens only through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost. Sanctification isn’t merely NOT sinning, it’s the absence of the NEED for sin.
1 Thess 4:3, 1 Thess 5:23, 2 Thess 2:13, 1 Cor 6:11

Baptism in water by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. This is our public profession of our faith in Jesus Christ

Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people. Holiness is the harmony of all the virtues. The Lord has not one glorious attribute alone, or in excess, but all glories are in him as a whole. – Charles Spurgeon. Holiness is really about—wholeness. In the process of holiness, the Holy Spirit is up to bringing the whole life of Jesus Christ into the whole of our personalities so that the whole love of God can be relayed to the whole world.
Lev 19:2, 1 Peter 1:15-16

Baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to salvation. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is an evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The life of Jesus teaches us the process of the ultimate filling of the Holy Spirit. It started with God the father bringing conviction and stirring us to repentance Jesus then comes to bring forgiveness and salvation. When we accept Jesus we are forgiven and set free After Jesus came and brought the gift of salvation, he ascended into Heaven AFTER he specifically told us to wait for the promise of the father… That AFTER him would come one who will live IN you. Finally, the Holy Spirit ascended on those that sought after it and received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues as the spirit enabled them.
Acts 2, Acts 4:31, Acts 19

We believe divine healing was provided for all in the atonement.
Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24

In the premillennial second coming of Jesus (Rev 20). First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air(1 Thess 4:13-18). Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years (Rev 20).

We believe in the continual remembrance of what Jesus did for us through the observance of the Lord’s Supper.
Matt 20:28, Luke 22:19

In the bodily resurrection (1 Cor 15:42-44); eternal life for the righteous (John 3:16), and eternal punishment for the wicked (Matt 18:8, Matt 25:41).

The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. The Bible’s lists of these gifts are not necessarily exhaustive, and the gifts may occur in various combinations. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters.
Hebrews 2:4; Romans 1:11, 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:16; 1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6-7; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; 1 Peter 4:10

Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34; John 17:24; 2 Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; 1 Peter 1:4

We believe marriage is defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by and publicly entered into before God.
Matthew 19:4-6

After living one life on earth, the unbelievers will be judged by God and will pay for their own sins in Hell where they will be eternally tormented with the Devil and the Fallen Angels. Jesus came to pay for our sins for us so that we can be rescued from judgment and spend eternity with Him. This is why we feel such an urgency to reach people with God’s love.
Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8
